News reports indicate that Standard & Poor’s has withdrawn its rating from Pennsylvania’s school district aid intercept program (A rated prior to this action). \u00a0News reports indicate that the budget impasse within the State is the reason for the ratings action. \u00a0The logic is that without a State budget there are no funds flowing to the school district’s thus no funds to intercept and thus no enhancement program.<\/p>\n
