Standard & Poor’s announced that it slashed the rating four steps to CCC- from B due to a “near-term liquidity crisis.” Governor Christie rejected an Atlantic City rescue package approved by the state legislature. In response Mayor Guardian announced that the City is considering filing for bankruptcy.
