Iowa State Treasurer has formally asked Iowa Governor to authorize the issuance of tax and revenue anticipation notes to prepare for strained general fund cash flows. Iowa Governor Reynolds dismissed the Treasurer’s request and stated that the State’s bills are being paid on time.
